Sunset

0.6sec 17mm f/22 ISO 100

I grabbed this image last night in an attempt to capture a nice sunset. This one is decent, considering I don’t have a filter on my lens and it was a completely clear evening. This is an HDR photo and I also played with photo shop. Every time I am blown away by its abilities. I added two blue gradients on the water and the sky. The sky one might be a little much, but the water one really adds to the cold feel that water should have. Overall, I was happy with this result. I am not happy, however, with the amount of dust on my sensor and the pain in the butt it is to clean. Thankfully, I was testing most of this dust at f/32, which I rarely use. It isn’t as bad with higher apertures.

Tomorrow I fly down to New Orleans so my post will be a bit late. I am looking forward to the culture and the music festival. Stay tuned for some great pictures (at least I hope they are).

Until tomorrow
