I don’t know what it is about alleyways, but I seem to be attracted to them, in a photography sort of way. Maybe it has to do with the lines, and the drawn perspective created. Maybe it’s because they usually have a negative connotation, and are a place you don’t want to trot down. Whatever it may be, I passed by this one and had to grab a photo. The interesting part of this alleyway was the car garage at the end, and the gate underneath. There is a cool red color behind the gate as well. The last thing I enjoy about this image is the natural light from the different sources (well as natural as a man-made light can be). I will probably have make a new category for alleyways if this all keeps up.
Until tomorrow.

That’s a great shot! Love it.
Thanks so much.
Beautiful–beautiful shot! It looks empty, littered and sad. Yet amazing with how the shadows are cast onto the wall. I especially like the building that sits off to the back left. Quietly, I think it is a little jealous.
Thanks for the great comment.
You are very welcome-you have quite the eye!
That is neat. And it looks like the part in the middle (above the gate) has a slight zigzag pattern to it.
Cinematic. I love it!
Thanks, Makena.
