If you’ve been around my blog long enough you know my stance on religion and the supernatural. Short version: it’s not for me. Even so, today’s discovery had me chuckling a little bit when I saw what lay before more.I was out and about trying to explore some of the nooks I normally don’t visit in the area, when I stumbled upon this. I was taking a photograph of something completely different, the end of the road actually, and I was heading back to my car. I glanced up and noticed how much vegetation was covering the wires. As my vision expanded on the subject I noticed how the vegetation, along with the angle I was standing, created something familiar. Not only that, but my dear old cloud friends were around to help with the image even more. I quickly moved my car up a few feet and got clicking away. I didn’t realize at first, but set my exposure up 2 small notches from yesterday. After seeing my overexposed images I changed it back and took a few more shots.

In post, I turned up the clarity, and worked in some more yellow light to enhance the clouds, as well as the greenery. I cropped just a tad off the left and right sides because you could see the wires. With everything else squared away, the image was set. I know what I see physically, and I know there is more than one way to interpret this image, but I figured it would be a fun photo to through up here for discussion. Especially on a Sunday. Spooky or spiritual? It’s up to you.
