Washington Crab

I grabbed this photo when I made my way through Little Washington a ways back. I really liked this crab because of the detail. If you really look at it, there are so many intricate nooks and gems on this crab. I can’t remember if there are more of these crabs around the city. I think they are like New Bern’s bears, but again, I’m not certain. It is hard to miss this statue as it stands more than 5 feet, and of course the color is outstanding. Washington, NC remains on my list of interesting towns to visit for a photo walk from time to time.

Tomorrow evening I have an event at a cool historic home out near Greenville, NC, called Myrtle Grove. Pretty excited for that and I’m hoping to get some great photos from it. Look for that in an upcoming post.

Until tomorrow.
