Again, I went back today through some of my older photos that didn’t make a particular days cut, and decided to bring it to light. This is another example of a railroad going right through a town. Well on the outskirts of the town.Where I am taking the photo is actually on a road that runs over the tracks, or maybe the tracks run over the road (chicken and the egg I suppose). I really wish I noticed more of this shot when I took it because it would mean I had a good eye at the time. At first I took this shot, because I like the tone of the brown of the tracks and the different textures in the photo. From further inspection, you can notice the parallel worlds on either end of the track. To the left, it looks desolate and dying (the leafless tress), and on the right we see some technology (car) and the trees full of life and not the mention the nice green grass. This really puts to mind living on the other side of the tracks.
It is fun to find new things from the photos we took when we reexamine them days later. I often go back through the previous 190 photos and smile at the good ones and then cringe at some of the things I’ve posted. It is funny, this whole learning a new skill business. I know I’m not at a point with this skill where I can take an amazing photograph every time, but I’m hoping I’m having some more consecutive days of good, rather than scattered days of eh.
Until tomorrow.

Great low viewpoint!
Thanks, CK.
I really like your observance of living on the other side of the tracks. I like the colors, too; was it raining? It sure feels like it!
Hey thanks, Melanie. No it was raining. I just added some blue to the image.
Amazing tones in this shot Dan!
Thanks, Pablo.
